An excelent site. Am looking desperately for a puppy to welcome into our home, love the breed and have had them in the past. Very informative, up-to-date(which makes a change) and dedicated to a fantastic breed of mans best friend. Looked through the site for information regarding reputable breeders in my area and will contact a representative obtained from your site living in the Newport area. Would appreciate any help regarding finding a puppy in or around the South Wales area.

Sadly recently lost my beloved blue roan Working Cocker bitch and am considering fostering - a friend told me off as she maintains I would be depriving a needy dog a good home (I'm sure she was being positive...), I could never replace Maisie - but I'd love to give another character the chance to develop and have loads of fun. I found this site incredibly helpful and informative. Very many thanks. K

I have just adopted a black bitch of about 18 months old. She was very badly treated and in a filthy condition when we got her. She has landed on her feet with a good home and two loving parents. She is so gentle and loving. As I have owned a dog and a bitch in the past I really understand the breed and would consider adopting another if my circumstances improve in the future. It is nice to know that this site exists for any information or help I require in the future. Janice

We have a 5yr old Blue Roan male cocker called Dawson. We've had him from a pup and he is a well loved member of our family. He has a lovelly soft nature but can have his funny & mad moments - quite a character. It is true that cockers never completely lose their puppy stage.

We are currently considering getting a another cocker puppy to add to our family - so are on the search for a local good breeder!

Found this site very informative.... We collected our puppy (Ollie) 48hrs ago and looking for tips on training etc. He is gorgeous and has stolen our hearts already but dont want to make the mistake of too much spoiling. As I am writing this he is lying on our bed next to us asleep. Will be adding this site to my 'favourites' as think I will be referring to it often over the coming months!! ;-)

We have owned three Cocker Spaniels over the last 20 years. The first one had quite a few health problems and we were reluctant to get another but or daughter insisted. About 16 years ago we decided to get another puppy and came away with two - brother and sister ( couldn't decide between the two of them). We had them for nearly 14 years and it broke our hearts when they died within two months of each other. This was nearly 2 years ago and it has taken this long to think about having another one but the time has come to fill the void. We would like to give a home to a rescue dog so we are on the lookout, hope we are successful

I've owned three cocker spaniels over my life time and after a break of almost 11 years i think that i'm ready to jump back onto the band wagon so to speak. My last male dog was the best ever but had PRA and lots of other health problems and it really put me off making such a commitment again ( ins is a must this time i think)I'm taking my time and looking for a reputable breeder. Thanks for the info on your site it has been very helpful. Carole

We owned a Blue Roan from 9 1/2 weeks old until his recent departure back in July aged 15. He was the most loveable dog that we could ever have wished for and miss him terribly. Vowed never to have another we have now started looking for a rescue cocker and have today registered our interest through this site.

May the Rescue Club find another wonderful example to fill our lives with happiness once again...!
